The long awaited SMF Module!

Please test and beat up. Also, you MUST replace the assets/snippets/weblogin.processor.inc.php with the one included here. This only works with SMF 1.0 RC2, too. Please follow the install instructions in the word doc.

I’ll install this and report... and guys : great work on the Readme, clear and concise with capture... ready to join the doc !

Everything is installed, the SMF seems to be working fine, I login/logout and do admin stuff. The module and plugin are installed, the module configuration is filled out. The module does something; I already had a web user of the same name, and when nothing seemed to be happening I deleted the user, which (embarassingly) deleted the user on smf as well...so I re-installed smf, and set the module to leave the smf user alone when deleting the MODx web user (I’ll probably set it back later once I’m sure of what I’m doing). But the Synchronize Users isn’t doing anything at all. From what I understand, it should be creating a web user with the same name as the user in smf

Susan, I have the same problem here, I thought I was missing something obvious or had failed to set this up properly... I was meaning to re-do the whole thing... I followed each step included in the readme. I also had my admin account nuked by the synchronization process, I had to re-create it from phpMyAdmin

While I am here, small typo in the Readme : "In this tutorial we will show you how you can install and configure the SMF connector module to work with an existing SMF 1.0 RC2 or later installation." (should read 1.1).

Oops...he says in the first post that it only works with 1.0 RC2!

Then the .doc file says it will do 1.0 or better, then it says it needs 1.1

LOL... whatever the latest is, which I believe is 1.1RC2... those were quick last second additions to the existing manual most of which was written before RC2 ever even surfaced! Keep those sharp eyes peeled!

Ok, so we’ve got SMF 1.1 RC2 installed and working, and the plugin and module installed...and the sync and the smf management links don’t do anything. Well, the sync link produces the javascript alert, and the frame gets refreshed.
