I made a DB backup of an older site and imported it in the latest version of mod-x (had to move the site)
now this works fine in first but cause the plugins and modules are also copyed tru the DB i got and older version of the quickedit module and snippet.
now i had to open an instalation file and copy past the new version into the right place in module and plugin sections.
is it not posible to have a button that updates those parts after a db import?
a bit like the installer that you can choose what modules / plugins you like to update. or mabe a check that looks at the module version and the module/plugin files if they match.
taht way you always have the latest version working instead of partial the old version from the database.
