P.S. I think you should use one format for snippet properties i.e you should either use all lower case (e.g. &buttontext) or all camel-case (e.g. truncName).

Ok, but the point I making is that it’s better to keep all the params for snippet in one case. So if you’re using lower-case then lower case it should be but you should not mix and match both. IMO it’s sometimes best to use lowercase sinces it’s easier to type at times.

Because this is where we discuss stuff among the developers/testers before we go public with any changes or ideas.

IMO I think new snippets, plugins and modules that are most likely to be added to the core should first be posted here first. But that’s solely up to the developer.
The testers forum is primarily for testing and discussing changes in order to eliminate some of the critical bugs/conflicts that would otherwise be made public.
