Bug Tracking

I agree w/ the poster over in the bug track forum that we need an actual bug tracking system. I generally use Mantis because it is so brain-dead simple for the less technical to file reports, but after looking over Trac, I'd strongly vote for that one, as it seems even simpler on the front end, but especially powerful, even including SVN integration.

We have Trac at CVSDude, and I know it's not public, but I vote for using it within the team at least, and we can use the bug report forum for discussing bugs less formally with the public users until we find a way to provide access to Trac for them. It's at least some sort of organization for now.

And we should use it for features as well, if nothing else is going to be used at this point.

Both points are right, we really do need a public facing bug tracking system, it’s a shame that Trac at CVSdude doesn’t fill this need because the SVN integration is great. This will become even more critical when we have an official 1.0 release and (hopefully) tons of people will be using it.

Travis is working on getting a public facing Trac installed. Should be done next week I’d think.
