MODx around the net!

As advertised earlier, I had intended to do so myself and maybe use things I had written along the way of marketing MODx and "unmarketize" it like I had for the french wikipedia and framasoft article.

I’ll probably drop by soon to add my touch. I guess if Paul had the time he could make this even better !

We’re no longer tagged as not in compliance with satisfying "a proposed guideline for notability". The reference links which came from here are now on the talk page for our article.

After our 096 release, we should add some discussions of some unique aspects of MODx on the wikipedia page, "written in the formal tone expected of an encyclopedia article". Those should be linked back to some not-so-formally written pages on the MODx site.

This review has "5000 document limit" as "The bad:" of MODx, I think its not true?

This is a big one. Because of the caching mechanism, you can’t have more than 5000 documents in a MODx website. However, this is acknowledged as a lack, and the team is working on it.

It’s pretty much true right now, but not for long.

I’d have to build a list, but I have a good dozens blog post or reviews published about MODx in french the past 3 months and I noticed reputation is building up ! I don’t know about german, italian or spanish and other community, maybe I should ask MODx ambassadors what the feedback is could be interresting to check it the trend is similar...
