Propose to increase MODx visability at opensourceCMS

I am very impress with the work has been done by the Marketing team and I would like to be part of this team.

I subscribe myself to the mailing list and I would like to make a couple proposals to enhance MODx popularity as follow:

I would like to propose increase MODx visability at opensourceCMS by do a couple things as follow:
. Write up a feature outline of what MODx are capable of and what is coming in the near future and what are plan for down the road. This alone will draw a lot of attention of visitor that come to opensourceCMS looking for a CMS solution to their need.
. Write up a review that I will be put on our feature article to highlight on scenario of area that MODx are excel at

With these two things at opensourceCMS I am sure MODx will get more understood and will bring more members and more traffic.

PS: Since I am the site admin of opensourceCMS I need to be impartial to all CMS that we demo their but I am more than happy to publish anything that MODx team want to publish at the site to gain visibility as long as it is true.

Indeed; I’d personally like to see us publish something in sync with a bug fix release.

I am glad to have you on the mailing list and I appreciate the input I most definitely think those two are good ideas, and it would be helping us a lot !

And agreed the "being true" (and might I add, constructive) approach is most certainly the way to go

Anyway, it’s an exciting prospect which I’ll be glad to work on !

While I am here, not very important but I had a question : I have been trying to comment on MODx on opensourcecms when I started to use it, but it never got published. I was not part of the team then and I submitted something as impartial as it could be (my user name is... davidm). I tried time and again, even with a different account but it never got published... How come ? Never had problems before...
