I personally think we should wait. I think we have enough what I like to call early adopters from our distribution point. I think once we make it even easier to use we should definitely do this, but just think it’s too early yet.

Other opinions?

One thing I have in my mind to balance/share the bandwidth expense

For this purpose, there is another option to host it to SourceForge.net.

The bandwidth costs aren’t currently an issue... but I sure plan for them to become one!

I agree with Jason, it’s a little early.

We could end up diverting resources from development toward support, that is end up with a lot more newbie users than the dev team and the early adopters, advanced users can handle (plus, a lot of us are still learning MODx as it is )

We have a nice momentum already, that has boosted subscription and traffic... Let’s handle that before we go ahead another step
