Copyrights !!! (tattoocms.info)

As I was visiting the http://tattoocms.info , they are using exact copy of content for translation purpose, but the images used on main modxcms.com are copyrighted and can not be used everywhere with out buying additional licenses.
Licensing terms can be found here http://www.istockphoto.com/license.php

Please put your thoughts on this issue... as we need to respect the licensing terms of IStockPhoto.com

Can we then change those photos and use open source/license photos such as those found at sxc.hu?

I see no reason to change the images at the main site. If you’d like to suggeest some alternate ones, please feel free to search and link them back here. Good idea, actually (but replacing the take control image is gonna be pretty tough..)

Thanks Zi for notifying us, it’s aour’s hosting for the french MODx website that he planned to build.

DONE I’ll send him a message so that he either remove the picture or comply with the terms of istockphoto’s license.

He won’t access this thread ! bcz its private ? or am i missing something ?

Yeah sorry my mistake he can’t access this thread of course... we are in Project Team boards : that’s why I PM’ed him

As you will see, aour has removed the copyrighted picture, no worries there
