I need to know if it is possible to duplicate my site (content, images, so forth) that I made with MODX.
This is a service that I offer to users through my site, so when they buy this services they automatically get their own website (copy of mine) to prospect people interested in what they offer. It seems that it’s possible with MODX, but I’m not sure since I’m new using MODX.
Please feel free to contact me!
Thanks!

I know you can have multiple sites in your MODx install each with their own url and templates, not sure if that is what you want to do.

You can build a "generic" version of your site, then use a tool like BkupMODx to back up everything, then another user can just "restore" that version as long as he has the database already created. All that would need editing would be the database connection info in the config.inc.php file, and possibly some directives in the .htaccess file. (if you’re using Evo, that is... )
