MaxiGallery &childgalleries_order_direction Problem!

Here is the code in my parent page. >

[!MaxiGallery? &childgalleries_ids=`all` &display=`childgalleries` &childgalleries_order_direction=`ASC` &max_thumb_size=`150`!]

Doesn’t matter if I make it ASC or DESC it will not change the order from top to bottom?
MaxiGallery Wiki shows it as working this way. > http://wiki.modxcms.com/index.php/MaxiGallery

What am I missing???

Which version of MaxiGallery are you using and MODx version?

This is really confusing. huh

I’ve also tried this >

&childgalleries_order_by=`createdon`

and it also gets ignored.
But it will resize the image with this command. >

&max_thumb_size=`150`

Why are the childgalleries commands being ignored?

Hi,

This morning was the first time i got to try this out on a MODx install, at first I found that i was getting the same issue then I discovered in the MaxiGallery documentation that the default order by field is menuindex.

So give this a try:

[!MaxiGallery? &childgalleries_ids=`all` &display=`childgalleries` &childgalleries_order_direction=`DESC` &max_thumb_size=`150` &childgalleries_level_limit=`10` &childgalleries_order_by=`pagetitle`!]

This then sorted my gallery by A-Z

I thought I had experimented with every possible order, but I realize I had not used these two together. >

childgalleries_ids=`all` &childgalleries_order_by=`pagetitle`

It even sorts by date / year, which is perfect for the client.
Your help is much appreciated.
