Only the ones that exists inside the style can use changed. You could also add new ones, etc.

I think the focus is to change all images, etc in the final release not for TP releases. On minor theme/color changes.

then it which will be the final release, is the Final release will go out named "MODx" ?

also, lots of menu items are missing from menu included as Layout3, I am working to add/edit it..

i am surprised that lots of menu items added, and render my menu unusable

See the l2mnu.php file. Your file is l3mnu.php. Also check to ensure that you’ve updated the permissions as well.
