Revert all to default with default properties in Revo

I can’t quite get how this option works with default properties.

It will actually revert the values of the default properties to their original values, even after a cache clear. At some point, however, it no longer changes them at all.

Is the turning point navigating away from the page?

Also, when applied to Property Sets, I assume that it "reverts" them to the values of the default properties of the element you’re working with at the moment. Is that correct? If they’re attached to several elements, the action wouldn’t actually be "reversion" in some cases although, offhand, I can’t think of a better way to describe it.

Are you saving the Property Set (or the Element you’re editing) after reverting?

If this happens, it’s definitely a bug.

Yes, that is correct. It reverts the set to the the default properties of that Element.

I was saving the element (you can’t save the property set when it’s the default properties -- you get a confusing error message, which I Jira’d).

Is revert supposed to take the default properties back to their original values (when they were created), back to their previous values before the last save, back to the values they had when you started this editing session, or what?

Here’s what confused me.

I’m pretty sure this was the sequence:

I loaded the element, changed some values, saved the element, navigated away, came back and clicked on revert and they went back to their previous values.

I wonder if it could be related to this bug: http://svn.modxcms.com/jira/browse/MODX-1123
Later, I did the same sequence and they didn’t change (they stayed in their most recent form).
