date formatting to output differently in manager? (Evo)

Greetings all.

I have a reservation system where there are two tv’s. bookingStart and bookingEnd

the date picker in the manager (which I have looked at in the media folder) is javascript but it looks like if I fiddle with the output then it will break it because it needs to play nice with the php date() function.

okay.

problem is I want to mm_synch_fields with the managermanager ...my bookingStart and the pagetitle, so my lovely client can just lookit the site tree and see the dates.

but they’re formatted funny. I know it’s not Crucial... I have the doodad working now and it synchs, but can I change the format outputted to the manager some easy way I haven’t thought of?
