New Forum Proposal

Hello Everyone,

Within the next couple of weeks I should be make some progess with the modpacks

I would like to have a separate forum created for modpack discussions so as not to have the threads scattered all over.

Any thoughts?

Sounds fine... but a starting explanation of modpaks would be a good start for those that aren’t quite as familiar.

MODPack in short is an "internal fork" of MODx.

I’ve decided to create MODPacks so as not to alter the mainstream development path to Tattoo.

It’s based on some discussions that we’ve had here:

I’ve created GreenCore (http://modxcms.com/forums/index.php/board,102.0.html) and MODPacks (http://modxcms.com/forums/index.php/board,103.0.html) forums in our DEV room, everyone in the team has rights to see except ordinary forum moderators.

What happened to it? I don’t see it in the boards or it being altered in the moderation log...

Well I’m responsible for removing the GreenCore forum.

There has been some on going discussions in the background on the impact of GreenCore on the project team. It has been brought to my attention that this might be causing some confusion within the team.

I think it’s best for the team and for the MODx project.

When I’ve gotten time to write the code for GreenCore I’ll make it known in the forums. I sure hope this will make things better for the teamto focus on what is available now.
