SAJAX

Ok, I just finally read about this AJAX tool called SAJAX, and I’m very impressed. I have this vision of SAJAX allowing direct access to MODx/Tattoo elements/components (or components from another language) from the JavaScript layer. Very cool, and could provide some really cool functionality to a manager interface with no additional server side coding; instant AJAX wireframing...not to mention a potentially great way to directly integrate with other web languages in a Web 2.0 manner.

I’ve been looking into things like this recently. Does anyone know if this can be used with object oriented PHP?

After a quick look I like at some different AJAX toolkits I like the looks of this one a lot http://www.dotvoid.com/view.php?id=39. What I don’t like is that it seems to be one persons personal project and who knows what will happen to it in the future. But it does seem like he’s got the right idea.

Well, I’ve had a good bit more time to play around with Toxic and it is very cool and pretty easy to use really. I’d still like to spend more time experimenting with SAJAX and maybe some other similar toolkits, but I thought I’d just let you know that Toxic is definitely worth a look.
