I don’t see anything for Permissions. Were you planning on grouping that up with users?

For .9.1 we’ll hold off on flyout menus (because  of frames) and the terminology switch. After the .9.1 bugfix release, we can really start having fun!

Anything that’s missing (like permissions) will need to be slotted in the appropriate place of course.

And in looking forward to the future, there’s a lot we can learn from these two interfaces:

From the guys that also make a 3Kb Effects-only version of scriptaculous, comees MooFlex:

mooflex is coded in php4 and it’s fully object oriented.
the commercial licenses prices are not yet available.
the client site is fully templateble (Smarty Driven) and runs with the same engine.

While we’re looking around at soem other cool things in other CMSes, I might just mention that I think that we should shoot for just a few very cool wow factors for MODx. Something where people will look at the CMS and spread the word just because this one feature is so cool.

I think that’s Raymond’s idea about the snippets/plugins in the editor could be one of those things, but maybe there are some other cool features that we could fit in soon that will really make heads turn.

We might also add a couple of columns to the appropriate tables to make managing multiple sites from one manager very easy: "owner" + "account".

This would enable multi-account hosted services and multi-login accounts to be accomodated much more simply I’d think.

If they were’nt used, it wouldn’t really be a huge amount of extra overhead; if they were needed, though, it’d be a major boon.
