Changes to NewsListing

Hi,

The changes that where made to the NewsListing snippet has caused some problems for pre-modx 0.9.0 websites. For me it prevented the site from been displayed.

One noted changed was newsid to startID. This IMO broke the NewsListing snippet.

I’m asking that we please try to make all future updates compatible with existing systems.

That’s my bad Raymond.

We should probably have released it as a newly named snippet as it’s much more useful as you’re aware for purely "news" related articles. We’ll work this out in the near future.
