IE does not support :hover on anything but A tags without either a Javascript solution or an IE behavior. A hover behavior will be included in the default content in TP3.3.

The javascript handles the hover issue in an unusual manner. I replaced the incorrect javascript on my site, and checked it in IE 6/Win, and it worked fine. As far as resolution goes, well, it’s all in the CSS. It’s not going to please everybody, but I like it better than the existing options. Anyway, if you prefer a more traditional dropdown, just change the CSS. The javascript will still make it work in IE.
