I can’t seem to get the resource browser working.... [ARGH!]

    I’ve tried:

    - checking & setting all the paths in system configuration
    - chmod -R 777 that entire directory tree
    - clearing server and local caches

So, I can upload/manage files normally with the modx browser, however the resource browser that pops up from the link in tinyMCE does not show any files and throws an "access denied" error if I try to create a directory or upload a file.

    -what’s going on here??

    -thanks
    -sean

Could be a security setting on your server that does not allow scripts to be run if they are deeper than a given number of folders. SUHOSIN is a frequent culprit here; it’s often set to 4 or 5 levels, and the resource browser goes in at least 6 levels.

            Ask your hosting provider.

SUHOSIN is not the issue - I looked at my configs etc & Plesk/MT does not auto jack that stuff in there.

              any other ideas?

is there logging - error messages anything, at least if I had that I would have a clue where to start looking .,... noting in the webserver logs, nothing in th modx error logging, no php errors... WTF?

              getting overly frustrated.

There is a version available for Revo. But you have to install it; it doesn’t come with the default Revo installation.

I installed 2.0 RC3 ..... tinymce does not appear to work with the release candidate....

upgrade to 2.0 and all is fine.

                    - remove all versions of tiny MCE
                    - upgrade modx to 2.0
                    - use the package manager to search for TinyMCE [it is there now]

                    works fine now.
