I have a rather large project and I know modx can handle it I just have no idea how to go about it. If I could get someone to just point me in the right direction I’ll try and not be a burden. Here’s what I need.
I need to figure out how to add fields to the profile so I can build user profile pages. (TV ? Snippet ?)
I want to add assets which can be owned by a profile however shared with another. I’m building a disc dog competitor website where people can enter info into thier profile (hometown, favorite color etc ... ) and then each competitor can have a Kennel where he can add Dogs and those dogs will in turn have thier own profile (DOB, Breed, Color etc ...)
Once I get a Competitor profile page to show his information and then have thumbs of his (or her) dogs listed which can then be clicked to view I want to add a Competition registration calendar where a competitor can create a competition, other cometitors can register one or more dogs in one or more divisions and when pre registration closes I can have a report (multiple reports actually) printed which will provide the followingg.
Pre reg forms for competitors to sign once they arrive on site which are also scoresheets to be used during the competition.
Competitor profile booklet for PA Announcer which will have a page for every competitor and his dogs summarized so we can fill time between routines with meaningful content about who’s coming up next, what they have done etc ...
This is only the first stage of what I want to do ....
I’m not asking for anyone to do the work .... I WANT to learn just maybe give me a shove in a direction or two.
