Well we are at it (TP4) we also need to develop a demo website that reflects the theme and power of the new CMS. It should make use of TVs (aka CFs) features.
Sections to be considered for demo:

* News Listings
* Contact us form
* Guest Book
* Order Form
* Photo Gallery
* Mini Blog
Are we installing this by default on new installs? (Because I think we should.)

I’m all for a very cool, very functional "blank state" install. With lots of great snippets too boot!

IMO the demo site will all the stuff mensioned above will be included in the install but as an optional item.
