TP3.2?

Hi All,

Ryan and I had been talking about so some of the things on the bug list and Adam’s new frontend editing snippets (soon to be plugins). Do you think we should we roll out a TP3.2 version of MODx?

As a participant in said conversation, I’m for it!

sounds great to me, have we addressed the things that need to be released in TP3.2? or are we going to identify and execute those things if we decide on creating a TP3.2?

If we decide to roll with TP3.2 then we would include all the necessary bug fixes todate or before the release

And I think we would also add Adam’s Front-end editing plugin and a few Snippets that Ryan and I are working on.

I think we should knock out as many reported bugs as possible. Zi, can you see if there are any bugs reported in the forums that are not in the bug tracker?

Raymond also mentioned multiple session IDs per install for multiple installs on the same server. This is a GREAT idea I think, too.

Finally, we should plan on including a revised DropMenu, NewsListing, NewsPublisher and UserComments with this distribution, along with a different default template. Maybe one of the ones Brook/Webmedic did. Front end editing for sure as Raymond said above.

Susan, can you think of some better demonstration/default content to include for a mini-tutorial out of the box?

Finally, there’s a pretty serious processor/memory leak somewhere with the tree code as is now. It should probably be tracked down and fixed too.
