Manager Slowdowns

I think we’ve got some major performance issues with the Manager. After heavy use, particularly with the doc tree, it just flat gets slow as heck. I thought this was going to be just a Mac thing until Zi mentioned it to. Everything else on the server remains snappy, so it’s not the server. Travis has mentioned it as well.

Ideas?

Note this was with FF 1.0.6 and Safari tested so far. I’m going to suspect IE does not exhibit these issues.

Zi just reported that the same thing happens in IE as well. This is all particularly notable in the modxcms.com site. I really started noticing it after I had duplicated a folder three times, then had to go back in and manually delete all of the files contained in it. Each folder had approximately 9 docs in it, FYI. I then emptied the trash and switched the doc types off of folders.

By comparisson, the Eto tree and operations seem quite a bit snappier in .6.1.
