TP3 release date

When should this be. What else is outstanding? Should we wait until the final version of FCK is release to release TP3 with it?

I’d say the sooner the better, as the folks will inevitably find some stuff in it that needs to be tweaked. We can have a TP4 too. I’d like to shoot for final release, thoroughly tested and several plugins/modules available with documentation by mid-to-end of August.

I’d agree with Ryan, the sooner the better. Having the final FCKeditor in the final Tattoo release would be a nice selling point. As an aside, is the final Tattoo branding ready?

Ok, for TP3 we can add Group Roles and add Special Access for TP4. So FCK final will be added when the time is right

This sould however speed things up a bit for TP3 release.

One other thing I personally think needs to be looked at for TP3 or TP4 is Friendly Alias Paths .. has anyone given this more thought and come up with a solution that will work without using absolute paths in all the page resources?

Good point. I’ll bring this up in the designer/marketer forum.

Not that we want to consider all of the issues with a new GUI, but I should have a stable, much more different look than Etomite ready in time for this release date.

I think we should release multiple templates, new backend, new logo all at the time of release...not in any release candidates.

Total agreement here on look/feel issues...
