Dropping NS4 support from TV controls.

I’m thinking about removing NS4 support from the TV controls. I don’t think many persons are using NS4 today. And if they are chances are they will also have one of the newer browsers installed.

NS4 is very different from IE4+, etc. It’s much harder to debug and to get certain effects you will have to do some major hacking.

By dropping ns4 support users will we view some of the TV controled content in the same way they would a page without style sheet.

It’s about time we look to the future and try and forget ns4.

Support will still be maintained for ie4+, ns6, ns7, moz, *opera6+, safari, dom compatible browsers.

* - some dynamic functionallity not supported.

In my book anything older than IE 5, including IE 5 Mac, is fair game to write off.
