Beginner ( new instalation )

Dear all

I’m a beginner on modx cms, and have a problem with instalation on web server.
I’m installing a modx-2.0.8-pl, but when it’s almost finish then appear an error messages :

Checking to make sure safe_mode is off: Failed!
MODx has found safe_mode to be on. You must disable safe_mode in your PHP configuration to proceed.

What should i do ? And please give me some advice
( i’m very sorry, if this post have already asked, but i’ve already search on this forum, but never found it )

If you have access to change php.ini you can search for safemode in this file and set it to OFF. If not, you should contact your host and ask them to set safe mode to off.
