    • Very nice! I seldom see such close attention paid to the value of the "fold".

Clean and not cluttered, just enough "shiny" to dress it up a bit.

      • Out of curiosity (and to prove a point on this thread http://modxcms.com/forums/index.php/topic,59238.0.html ) how long did the template take to design?

Susan, I checked it out and I’m with you. I don’t see why it would take all that long. I realize I have a ton of experience and that makes some things go quicker.

For my site, once I had a concept in mind it didn’t take long at all to set up the pages. Creating and saving the images took the longest. And creating a blog in MODx is very simple. There’s no way I would try to re-create one of my designs in Wordpress if I was already using MODx, especially if I wanted the same look and feel. Besides - multiple log-ins and admins?! No way.

Someone also mentioned eCommerce add-ons etc with WP. Foxycart is so easy to use and good I don’t know why that would be an issue. Plus, it IS part of the CMS when used with MODx.
