First public phpBB-MODx site using MODxBB

Some features were already introduced in the MODxBB thread. There are, however, also features on the site that aren’t part of MODxBB. E.g. search panel, FAQ and ListIndexer previews (click « ).

They might also be worth having a look at I think.

Absolutely awesome Looks great and works very well. I did have one little issue and that is with username case. I can’t remember if phpBB is username case sensitive, I know modx WebloginPE isn’t but once I got the case right it just flew.

User names in phpBB are indeed case sensitive, however, it won’t let you register an account with an existing user name, even if you choose a different ’casing’ (just tried it).
Might be for security reasons or to support individually ’designed’ nicks, but that is just a guess. Never really thought about that issue to be honest, as I always enter the proper case automatically.

I found out after I had written the reply (with help of Google).

It’s an odd coincidence, as I took this one out of 3 that came into my mind. I used ’going on forever’ for the site I made it originally for, but that didn’t quite fit here. I came up with ’connecting worlds’, ’connecting people’ and ’connecting users’ and chose the second.
I haven’t had anything from Nokia yet and didn’t know they used this as their slogan. I hope the one on the right isn’t used by any company yet.
