The past few weeks I have been working on the Carlos Boozer website (seen here:
http://www.carlosboozer5.com). The site it’s self isn’t very ground breaking, outside of being MODx Revolution powered
. It makes heavy use of getResources to power most of the pages and allow for easy editing.
Jquery powers most of the cool effects including the gallery. The videos are pulled directly from vimeo (including thumbnails, title, view count, and related items). They are managed directly in MODx using getResources to paginate things.
Comments are powered by Disqus to allow for easy commenting with an existing login (facebook, twitter, etc). We are still tweaking aspects of the site (mainly centered around our favorite evil friend), but everything should work nicely in modern browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, etc).
