A Few modx Projects

Hey everyone, I use modx for every site I do these days, having already been through drupal and joomla I can say modx is definitely the most flexible.

Anyways, here are a few sites I’ve done recently. All rank #1 on Google Australia thanks to easy SEO of modx.

Fast loading for me, they are hosted on an Australian server however.
The IMS website is specifically resolution dependent (as the client wanted to make sure that the "blue haze" was mostly visible no matter which resolution people are in). In 1920x1200 the bg is around 200-300kb, which is very large, however I might try and find a better balance of quality and size soon.

Well that IMS site takes over 20 sec to load here. The others about one sec, it must be that background.

Edit must be a loacl thing because testen on a speedtest site, loadtime was 0.4 sec http://rapid.searchmetrics.com/en/seo-tools/site-analysis/website-speed-test,46.html

Nothing more frustrating than a slow loading website.

All are very nice, only thing I would point out is the eyebleed caused by the red button with blue text and blue button with red text on the ’big man and a van’ site.

Cool stuff apart from that one thing.

All sites very nice as noted by many. One major issue for me though is the IMS logo graphic that floats in front of most pages’ text/headings. I am running my browser at 1024x768 within a larger screen resolution.

I know you said it was some kind of resolution thing needed by client, but come on, 90% or more of world on not on such hi res monitors. With mobiles taking a large chunk these days I wonder what site looks like on an iPhone or even iPad.
