My project "Wii Insider" just relaunched with the help of MODx Evolution! The site started back in January 2005 with a PostNuke CMS. In 2006 we migrated the forum to a phpBB and built the rest of the site around it. We launched two new designs since then but it was always a pain for the editors to manage all the content just with the forum and some static php-stuff. So I worked a lot on the new page with MODx which gives us so much opportunities in managing all the content and data. Because of having around 8.000 registered users I didn’t want to lose all the phpBB accounts with their custom fields when moving over to the MODx webuser so I decided to let the forum still handle all the registration stuff. But I implemented the phpBB session handling and created a workaround for using it in combination with Jot. So, all in all we now have a powerful system!
