    Hi all,

I’ve been following the progress of modx from some time ago and use 0.9 series in some simple projects. I’m the responsible of some website portals with some high traffic from a spanish bussines. After some discuss with company members I finally are going to migrate all the html/ftp/... nightmare to a proper cms and here is where modx enter the game smiley

Actualy portals are all a mix of static html with some differents opensource php scripts and a lot of own very customs php scripts. So after evalue drupal and modx I decide modx (revolution), although it has less tools (for now) but are a lot more flexible to integrate with my own scripts and differents peculiarities of our systems, and I love flexiblity.

My only doubt is about performance, compared with static html and the very optimiced custom php I know I will have to fight with differents approach to manage high traffic with modx and our actual hardware. I will test how modx cache works...

I’ll post all interesting tips I discover and share code while I try to get help with you about the best approach to solve problem.

    Thanks for this great cms.
