    Hi,
    I want to show you my 2, brand new, websites. They both run on a single domain, use one ModX Manager and have fully customizable templates. This is what customer wants.
    Both sites are "HD READY";) They are designed for 1920px width. The content container is usually max 1003px width, but there are some nice graphics on both sides. If you have chance to check this out on hd screen, let me know how do you like it. Websites are in polish.

    Sites:
    1. www.winefashion.pl/wina
    Site about Wines import and distrubution
    2. www.winefashion.pl/fashion
    About Fashion

    The project is finished in about 95% so you may find some bugs. I didnt notice any bugs on Fashions site. On Wine’s site there is some problem with remember state of Vineyard menu. Wine’s site does not work on IE6. Both sites are tested in Firefox,Opera,Chrome,IE7,IE8.

    Thanks for feedback.

            Thanks.

            I have one problem, and cant find solution.
            On Wine’s site there are 2 separate menus. Firsth is used to navigate only between vineyards. Second for other content. In concept, Vineyard’s menu item must always be selected. Itvlooks like this:
            http://img408.imageshack.us/f/dibibiswinethummerer127.png/

            When users visit the site first menu item is selected (it requires Wayfinder to have default value parameter. It has not but i handle it by modifing source). Than when user change the page from right navigation, the state of vineyards menu is remembered and still selected. Here is a problem. If users change Vineyard that is not set as default we have to remeber the Vineyard ID. I was trying to get it done by ussing sessions but it does not work too good. How about passing page id in URL or something?

            Do you have eny other ideas how to solve the problem?

              some tips for Strict:

              & ----> &
              <meta http-equiv="content-language" content="pl" /

              missing >

              for FAVico:
                  <link rel="shortcut icon" href="favicon.ico" type="image/x-icon" />

              type="image/x-icon" is important
              width=200"

              for strict property="value"
              ...

              one more in fashion site that flash have no links...

                Damn Krystalin, you have found out the unfinished 5% of the project:) Its a shame that both websites do not passing validation. I will fix it asap.
                Talking about validation, do you know any tricks to make WYSIWYG content code cleaner? Without useless breaks or paragraphs?

                  huh, "mission impossible" with Tom Cruise

                  if you use tinymce look that:
                  http://wiki.moxiecode.com/index.php/TinyMCE:Configuration/strict_loading_mode
                  maybe is work - i have no idea smiley

                  hmm, it`s good point to make some test with WYSIWYG and STRICT...and html 5 smiley

                    You can use the TinyMCE plugin’s configuration tab to add some directives to the Custom Parameters field that will stop it from messing up your code:
                    cleanup : false, forced_root_block : false

                    This will prevent it from removing tags it doesn’t know about (like the HTML 5 tags), and will stop it from sticking <p> tags around everything.

                      Thanks, hope it’ll be usefull.

                      Taking a chance from this nice conversation I wanna ask you one more question. Its about SEO. What is your opinion about URLs. It’s obvious that is better to use friendly urls but what should they look like?
                      Long: http://winefashion.pl/wina/nasze-winnice/thummerer/winnica.html
                      or Short: http://winefashion.pl/winnica.html

                      Does it have any affect on SEO efficiency?
                      To me a long friendly urls seems to be more precise, but from the other hand when we have deep document’s tree structure our links may be too long.
