looking for events code?

Hi guys, I’m currently working on a MODx site (Evolution 1.0.4) which I’m hoping will go live over the next couple of weeks. What would make my day is if anyone knows of an addon that works as an Event Manager.
What I’m looking for is software that lists events, allows web users to ’book a place’ on the event, and if necessary remove their booking if they can no longer make it.
Any thoughts?

Tony

Besides picking the wrong forum to post this, I’m afraid I can’t help you.

You could make something yourself using template variable to populate a form which is sent by email.

If you want to to as advanced as you’re talking now, you’ll probably be better off using Revo to make that app although the lack of full documentation might make that a bit harder.

(When you want people to remove bookings, you’ll need to be sure it’s them so that calls for a login system to match to the booking.)

If you only want to show events, EventCalendar http://modxcms.com/extras/package/134 displays a nice calendar which can link to the items directly also. Or just use ditto to output it as you want to.

Oh, I’ll need to try that one some day.

Thanks for the link!
