We’ve just launched a new e-commerce website using MODx and FoxyCart. Sassak (
www.sassak.co.uk) is a UK based importer of unusual fair trade importer of furniture from asia.
The website makes extensive use of Ditto, PHx and jQuery, the site also features custom feeds for Google Base and Google Sitemap (all developed using Ditto). The project will continue to undergo progressive enhancements with both the inclusion of new content/products and the addition of further template and snippet additions.
The original development project was initiated using Magento, however following extensive pre-launch testing we decided to make the brave and costly move to shift work to MODx. I am extremely happy we decided to move the positive project move to MODx as it now allows us to extend the Sassak project beyond what was possible with the Magento system.
