huh I have uploaded a new site using MODX but it keep jumps to the old site.
my new site is www.tigalu.com and old site is www.gkd.uk.com, but I need both sites to work. right now I have turned off the friendly url on the new site although I don’t like this idea, but the problem hasn’t gone away.

I have another problem when I enter the www.gkd.uk.com (old site) it keeps loading the prdouct page instead of home page.

cany some tell me how to fix it.

Did you clear the cache before you made the move? Your old cached pages would still have the links to the old site.

Susan, thank you for comment. Yeah, I did clear Cache few times. But, to be honest I can’t remember if I did this just before uploading the new site. what can I do now.

Try clearing your browser cache and cookies for the old and the new domains. The new site appears to be working fine for me.

Did you have the DNS for the new site pointing to the old site at one time? If so, it may be a DNS proxy cache refresh problem (nothing much you can do about that; I once had an ISP that only refreshed their proxy cache every 24 hours).

Also check your .htaccess file. If you were using friendly URLS on your old site and you copied over the .htaccess file, it’s possible that every page request will redirect to the old URL.

You should do the perfunctory check that your links haven’t hard-coded the old domain anywhere, too, and make sure you’ve updated the site settings in the manager control panel under Tools.
