ConveyMedia.com Launched with ModX

Hi all. My name is Sara, and I opened a small web development business in October 2009 entitled Convey Media(TM). This venture came after I received my Masters in Publishing.

I was a die-hard Joomla! user until ModX. Although I still use Joomla on some projects, most of my clients are now on ModX designs.

I’m more of a big-thinker, and can manage projects very well (that’s the editor in me). I’m a great XHTML/CSS coder, but I also determine the initial concepts of sites.

I love how simple ModX is as compared to Joomla -- Joomla’s code is overly bloated in my opinion.

I work full time and maintain two weekly radio talk shows, but am slowly building my business (my site’s content isn’t even all up yet). I look forward to participating with all members of the ModX forum. Having worked on (and still currently support) many other not-as-well-known CMS packages, I’m happy to say that ModX has a bright future ahead of it.

Thanks for visiting the site. The site is correct:

XHTML sites start at $149.
ModX sites start at $225.
Joomla sites start at $500.

My packages include free 1-yr domain name registration, design, email setup, $4 per month U.S.-based Green hosting (BBB accredited) with N.American-only technical support. Larger contracts receive more months of free hosting and complete content migration and formatting.

I need to start incredibly low, as I am building my professional portfolio. Eventually these prices will go up.

wonder why joomla is more than twice as expencive, i don’t like joomla at all thow.
