I’ve almost finished my first site using MODx. I’ve played around with other CMS’s but MODx seems the nicest one to use out of them all.

I’m not much of a designer (don’t really have a creative bone in my body) so I find the design stage hard, putting it all together is the easy part :p
If you could take a look at http://new.birchmerefc.co.uk and let me know what you guys think I’d be most appreciative.
I know it needs more content, I will be doing that once I’m happy with the final design.

    Cheers,

    Dan

      Nice. smiley

I think it would look a little better if you changed the margin-top to 30 for #content-text (and see what you think of #aabb88 as a background color fo #content-text -- I think it goes a little better with the dark green, but maybe it’s just me).

Cheers for the suggestions, I’ve put the margin-top in place, it looks a bit better with that, I’m not too convinced with the content-text colour (looks better than what it was) but I think it is a case of I might put a gif behind it with rounded corners (once I work our how to do a decent rounded corners box smiley)
