I’m still not seeing any background below the white on IE7 (Vista). The page is tight against the bottom of the browser window.
Strange, on my older vista machine IE7 does have that gray space below?
I’m used to visiting new, unknown sites without Javascript (running NoScript extension of Firefox). Hence I would not get any chance to see that there is an e-mail contact. So I would like to suggest you either make it clear by words, say, "Turn Javascript on to view the e-mail address", or, what is more preferable regarding the target group of that site, choose a "softier" spam protection strategy.
But notwithstanding this I like that site, its simplicity.

Very nice! I just thought I’d also point out that once I click on the menu, the last item moves to the second line.
