If you’re using Firefox you can go to tools >> Page Info and it will show you all of the image files and their size.

Aaahh... fool me.
Thx.

he/she who said Firefox spoke well.

Firefox with Webdeveloper plugin. Very useful plugin. You can view the total document size with a breakdown of each file(image, css,js,swf and others) in the document. See attachment.

The screen capture was taken using yet another Firefox hero...(drum roll) Screengrab. It can grab the visible portion or the entire frame of the webpage you are viewing.

I suspect he used Yslow in FF or Inspect in Chrome.

first time I heard abt Yslow. when I searched, found this good article on how to make your website faster:

http://developer.yahoo.com/performance/rules.html

This Firefox plugin is most comprehensive:
http://code.google.com/speed/page-speed/

I’ve used yslow for a few years and find it to be an amazing tool. I have yet to try the google version, but I suspect it would be similarly as useful.

I’ve also found when I try to maximize my points/grade sites really tend to fly!
