BGW Services - Church Building and Much More!

On behalf of BGW Services and A Beautiful Question, I am pleased to announce the launch of http://www.bgwservices.com

This site was designed by an in-house designer from BGW Services and developed by A Beautiful Question (http://www.abeautifulquestion.com) using MODx.

Take a look and tell us what you think!

Nice! Very clean and well laid out. Good work!!

Very nice

Very nice.

I really like the sliding tabs. What did you use for those?

One nit -- The "Register Now" buttons are a little larger than they need to be and crowded against the headings, IMO. The lines with the buttons also run a little long sometimes and make the layout look unbalanced.

I would shrink the buttons a little and put them under the headings raher then next to them, with equal space above and below them.

Nice! Thanks for sharing!

The sliding tabs were hand-coded using jQuery Glad you like them!

Also, thanks very much for the feedback. I will pass along to the designer and see what she thinks. She’s pretty open about that kind of stuff.

Cheers!

Very nice! Love the sliding tabs. I really should make some effort to learn jQuery!

Is it just me or the tabs render better in Chrome and Safari compared to FF 3.5? They are very jerky and jump all over the place in my FF 3.5, win-xp.

Oh, the design-portfolio, some (all?) images are missing captions and titles so you have the texts "Image title here" , "Image caption here".

Again, great work!

The FF3.5 issue is something we are still working on. At this moment, I have no idea what FF3.5 is doing with my jQuery code... It literally works in every other browser perfectly and also in FF3.5 on Mac OS X 10.5. If anyone has any suggestions for a fix, I am all ears!!! This issue is practically the last thing on my plate for this site.

As far as the design portfolio, the client hasn’t had a chance to log into their SlideShowPro Director account and add captions or titles yet. This should be done in the next week!

Again, thanks to everyone for all the awesome feedback on this! Incredibly helpful!

I have heard about FF’s new javascript engine being quirky and all...don’t know if that might be it...
