Freshbreadmedia.com

I just re-launched my site ( freshbreadmedia.com ) using Modx, and wow! What an awesome experience that was! I’m still a noob to Modx, but after going through some tutorials I had several AHA! moments that just left me awestruck, especially after toying around with other CMS’s like Drupal, Wordpress and Joomla. Once you get the concept of TV’s and chunks and snippets you never want to use anything else.

I’ll admit my site isn’t huge, and it’s still a work in progress, but I really feel like I have the tools to make it whatever I want it to be.

I heard someone somewhere say "You don’t apply your site to Modx, you apply Modx to your site" and that was the exact feeling I got from working with it.

Excellent job, developers!!!

Chris,

Beautiful site you got there! Interesting bread-analogy...threw me off at first

Welcome to MODx! That AHA feeling never wears off! Another great plus for MODx is the community...friendly and helpful. Feel free to ask questions..Enjoy your stay!

I like it...nice site.

Beautiful site Chris!

And thanks for kind words, keep ’em coming.

Very nice design! It’s nice and lively, which is perfect for its purpose.

I definitely agree about the AHA! moments. I’ve had a lot already, and there will be more to come as I learn more about MODx.

That was me! I totally feel significant. You made my day. Here’s where I said it, by the way: http://getsatisfaction.com/modx/topics/you_dont_add_your_website_to_modx_you_add_modx_to_your_website
