New ModX Convert - www.kmdg.com

ModX is great -- I love the fact that I can independently create my design and HTML and build the CMS around my own code, rather than trying to jerry-rig somebody elses template. I had almost given up on using any sort of CMS, and would resort to using WordPress. WordPress is great for websites based on a blog, but that’s not every site. I just feel like I have more control over the content being published and what I’m doing with it.

The first project I started with ModX was somewhat of an experiment to see if it would be good to use for client projects. It’s just the website for the design group I work for. We’re still making adjustments based on feedback, but by and large it’s complete. I hope everyone likes it!

Hmm, I never thought of that! I suppose I could move the readling list to the left side of the page and put the news on the left, but I just didn’t want people to think that the page they were viewing was for reading list and not news.

We’re going to change the navigation for the portfolio section as well, we think it should be higher up. It’s easy to miss at the bottom.

Nevertheless simple but great design
