This site was deployed 4-5 months ago for my father-in-law (!) as a redesign of his static HTML site, who finally decided to be "hands off" and let me design free of any of his imposed boundaries. How nice that was! He was very happy with the result.

He was also tickled pink that he could log in to the backend of MODx (with severely restricted permissions, hehe
) and change the page text and pictures on his site without having to ask me to do it.
I made extensive use of Wayfinder which you will see on the portfolio page. I also wrote a custom snippet to dynamically generate the thumbnails for each portfolio page, making the maintenance of the portfolio page a breeze (he’s constantly updating it). I’m not a huge fan of the lightbox-style galleries, so I used
EnlargeIt! for his galleries.
Man I love MODx.
