I’ve installed Modx and have configured it. I goto my website "www.mysite.com" and it pulls up the generic "coming soon" place holder page. If I goto "www.mysite.com/modx" then I get to see what I made. So how do I get what I made to be displayed without the "/modx" on the site? Of course I know I need to get rid of the place holder altogether, but what do I put in it’s place?

If you installed your MODx in the /modx directory, and not in the www or htdocs or public_html directory (which is your web root) you’ll have to indicate somehow that mysite.com actually goes to domain.com/modx. How to do this depends on your server configuration and your hosting.

Not remove, just move the files in the root and you are good.

Other than that, you will need to remove the subdir from Paths in site config, but thats trivial.

I decided to just uninstall / re-install instead. I am still learning it and would hate to screw up and miss moving something that would hose me later. I’m sure I will be posting more newb questions soon. Thank you for the help.
