Relating to SEO... since I work next to a team of SEO experts, I can say that yes, the latest Google suggestions are to put the document title as high up as it can go, the idea being that if a bot is grabbing only the first x characters from a page, it’s a safer bet to have the title be closer to the front of the page.

That may just be splitting hairs, but they had us rework some of our templates to accommodate that change... and as another person pointed out, Google changes their methods frequently, so this change may already be moot.

@kongondo LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have to admit, I always have a spelling mistake somewhere on my sites. Thanks for pointing that out!

Still having google issues? Couple of things I picked up on but might not be what´s afflicting you......
Keywords:  If your talking about meta keywords then don´t worry about it, they became defunct a long time ago. If not where are these "keywords"?

The meta keywords tag allows you to provide additional text for crawler-based search engines to index along with your body copy. How does this help you? Well, for most major crawlers, it doesn’t. That’s because most crawlers now ignore the tag.

Site map:  I have had issues with sitemaps, strangely I have had sites get more pages registered after I took the site map away so now I just like to rely on google finding all the pages naturally.

My feelings are if your site is built correctly it will just happen.

Hey, I have been on a design holiday for a week. I haven’t turned on my design PC for 7 days! I have put a lot more work in to the site since I first posted it here and people commented so if you look again it will be some what different. Anyway I am going to off the site over the next couple days and post here once it’s ready for you guys to check it out.
