ETF MarketPro - Financial Website

Here’s another website we’re just finishing up. So, I’d like to get some feedback. It was "soft launched" recently and we’re doing sort of a live development. Without further adieu: ETF MarketPro

With extensive use of many community snippets, custom snippets, and customized community snippets, modules, and plugins. Thanks to the community for helping make this happen.

Edit: OH, BTW, there are already over 600+ etfs listed on the site and the site has about a 1000 pages total.

Great looking site, good job. I just peaked in at the moment but I will dig in a bit latter for a better look.

I’m not a big fan of those cliché business stock-photos, but of course, it fits.

Cool site. Like the javascript table sorting, is that a hand rolled script?

Yeah, you’ll have to dig a lot - there’s a lot of docs.

Not a huge fan of the stock photos either, but this one seemed to fit well actually. The image we had before was very compelling, but the tagline was changed and it didn’t work.

And yes, that is a huge sitemap.

Nicely done.

Very nice site, clean and crisp. Good use of the <title> Tag too, however do you realise you have a lot of missing meta keywords and descriptions tags on a number of pages?

You are right, that is the largest site map I have seen. The index is not to short either And that is a nice sorting table. I have a general issue with JS sorting multiple page tables though, since it is only sorting the visible results and not all of them. But that is another story.

Did you input all the content manually? If so it must have taken forever!

Thanks for the kind words. The Keywords and Description were left for them to do in-house. We’ve given them instruction it’s just that there’s a lot of content to input. Thanks for the insight.

Yeah, definitely a lot of links. The table initially sorts with by size throughout the list. But, you’re right only the current results list gets sorted. Also, the content was put in manually. Each ETF (600+) had to be manually entered, but once that was done all the other directories and related pages were created dynamically from the ETF pages.

The official launch is at the end of the month.
