Himmelberger Design

Built on our Deployable sub-distribution of MODx, my padawan Mark made a sweet social news / bookmark blog thing, check it out.

I used to work more with wavestatic studios, but anyway, submitted for your approval.

Very nice site. It is simple and well laid out. Good choice of colors and good job on the logo.

Thanks, although it does resemble paramount, "himmel" means sky / mountain / something similar so my research has shown. we ended up buying himmdesign.com too for telling email addresses over the phone.

I’m thinking of a few minor revisions, but we’ll see. Oh this sues Blueprint CSS framework as well.

Yeah, I like the simplicity of it. How long did it take you? From the moment you started the re-design until you took it live. For us it was a year or more from the day we started the design until we actually launched.

About 1 month - I have some earlier versions as well, some more "techy" looking, but I’m leaning away from the hip / tech looks more and more. Maybe I’m getting older , but I’m trying to think long term and what inspires trust with a client, I looked at large financial institutions and such.

So I went with a serif font, seems more classic and timeless - I still love my sans-serif fonts as well

I hope to release a very minor design tweak soon, I wouldn’t mind some feedback.
