Alright, well I’ve been aching for quite awhile now (A year or so?) to have a custom website template and I’m finally taking the initiative and doing it myself, which means I have to learn to code CSS & HTML.
Right now I have a general layout (Eck! Tables!) Set up for visual purposes... The background images are by no means final and are just there to get a general idea of what is going on. I am looking to get some opinions on the header colors, and some suggestions for backgrounds/colors for my two sidebars, content area and footer.

Also, I am trying to steer clear of putting CSS in the HTML file itself for my final product and I was wondering if anyone would be kind enough to assist me in stripping the menu I created using
CSS QuickMenu 6 to pull the menu from the HTML Document and make it ready for deployment within MODxCMS without having to contain all the style, java script and other information in the primary HTML template file so I can just attach the necessary files for the sake of cleanliness.
Thanks in advance to everyone and anyone who can help me out with opinions and most especially assistance in getting that menu cleared up.. As I’m just beginning to learn CSS at all, it’s a little confusing and advanced for me.
