Just designed a news site for a suburb called Sunninghill in Johannesburg, South Africa: http://www.sunninghillnews.co.za

I’m quite new to MODx but I absolutely love it. Anyway, check out my site and tell me what you think. The site is quite new and it would be great to get some critique on the site as well so that I can ensure the site improves.

    Thanks

Cool site, nice to see the use of the orange background - even spotted my Polls module in there tongue

Be nice to see a web-based contact form along with the email addresses on the Contact page. And, another minor observation, the background seems to stop abruptly at the bottom of long pages (for example: http://www.sunninghillnews.co.za/advertising) - just setting a default background colour would sort that out.

Overall, great work ... keep it up smiley

Yeah, a web-based form is actually a good idea for the contact page; I’ll definitely make one.

Re the background image, I’ve tried to create a fading effect and I’ve put in a bgcolor of orange I think in the CSS style sheet so I’ll have to change that bgcolor to white obviously to keep the fading effect for really long pages.

Thanks for the comments; much appreciated!
